Rising energy costs and the energy intensive natureof our products has driven us to explore andimplement energy efficiency measures, this is acontinuous process and targets for energy intensityimprovements which are defined on yearly basisand are part of the sustainability dash board.

We work on projects that decrease environmentalimpacts and strive to improve energy performance.Meeting our needs for a reliable, quality anduninterrupted power preferably from renewablesources remain our focus. Hence, we are utilisingrice husk which is renewable fuel in our power plantboiler for generation of steam that is used in the dyehouse and for yarn conditioning.

We believe that management of energy is theresponsibility of all employees and participate inthe energy management process.
